For those of you who do not know, Aunt Debbie's father, L. Douglas Waldorf, died Sunday after battling with cancer for a couple of years. Nanny and Gramps knew him and his wife, Olive, in Norfolk before Debbie was even born. He ordained Gramps and elder in the Church and Nanny was Sister Waldorf's visiting teacher. As a matter of fact, Nanny took a meal in to the family when Debbie was born. Small world.
